"The project investigates functional significance of intra-modal stimulus history and reward history on visual processing and behaviour. Using animal behaviour, neurophysiology and computational modelling we aim to:

i) quantify history effects during visual perceptual decision making,
ii) model interaction of stimulus and context to quantify history effect on neuronal coding and decoding and
iii)probe the role of top down neural circuit for history-dependent contextual modulation by using optogenetics."
